Stopped here for an early Dinner on our way from Long Island, NY. to Knoxville TN. We were a little skeptical when we saw the Bob's BIG Boy mascot outside, but when we got inside we were delighted ! The staff were really nice, answered our miriad of questions about food options. One of the customers sitting near is had just recieved their order and it looked delicious, so we asked what it was; it was breaded fried Haddock, I ordered it with a choice of 2 sides mac & Cheese and Apple sauce. It was better than expected, 2 large pieces. I was stuffed when I finished l, which was not expected when having white fish. My Fiance had the Smash Burger, and onion rings. They also have an outside area with a good amount of seating. The staff and clientele were all friends and talkative, could have stayed all night, but we had to get back on I-81 to finish the second half of our trip. We will definitely stop in again....
Loved it so much for dinner, we brought the whole family the next day! Update 5/2/2025 Back in Winchester again, so I guess this is becoming our family 'go-to' place. Once again, everything was great!
I really enjoyed this restaurant and bar. The service was great, the food was amazing for both of us. They had karaoke the people who sang were actually very good. I would definitely go back again.
Sat at the bar and ordered a drink and loaded fries. Fries were smithered in cheese and bacon but were still crispy. Came with sour cream and 2 sides of rancho dressing.
Im in town for work and this place came highly recommend from a coworker. We went in for “Wing Night”. This place did not disappoint, we had boom boom shrimp appetizer- wow! The shrimp were breaded and fried perfectly and the boom boom sauce was delicious and have a good spice level to them. For wings we had: Hot Honey, Carolina Gold, and Garlic Butter. The wings were fresh and cooked perfectly. The sauces were all very good too. The restaurant was clean and the staff were great. If you are in Winchester, I highly recommend this place for some really good wings!
This is the definition of a hidden gem. Food is locally sourced, if fried food is your fancy, they only use beef tallow, wings are top notch, and the old fashion's!!! I can not wait to get back to this place!
The food was absolutely delicious. Our waitress Lauren was better than perfect. She was waiting about 5 tables at once and didn't seem to miss a beat. Prices very reasonable.
Went for breakfast. Pros: delicious food, well prepared, good portions. Coffee refills! Tasty thick rye toast (with swirls). Pretty good home fried potatoes, made from real potatoes and apparently fresh and hand cut. Plenty of seating. Tons of locals, which testifies to its quality and value. Creative menu and 1950's diner decor. Easy parking. Easy access from the highway. They also have wonderful, meaty chicken wings in a variety of flavors. One of the best 2 breakfast restaurants in Winchester in my opinion
Haley is hands down one of the best servers we’ve had! Every time we see her, she’s friendly, welcoming, and always greets everyone with a genuine smile. She has such a bubbly personality that instantly makes you feel comfortable and taken care of. The last time my cousin and I came in, Haley gave us some amazing food and drink recommendations, and every suggestion was spot on. You can tell she really knows the menu and enjoys helping guests have a great experience. Her positive attitude, attention to detail, and outstanding customer service keep us coming back. Haley is truly an asset to the restaurant, and she deserves recognition for the wonderful job she does. Thank you for always making our visits enjoyable, Haley! Keep being amazing! 🫶🏽🫶🏽
